Civil engineers use survey and geomatics information extensively. In the Philippines, cadastral, boundary, geodetic, and other regulated services belong to the statutory practice of geodetic engineering where applicable. Use the appropriate licensed professional and do not treat familiarity with survey data as automatic authority to perform every regulated surveying service.
